My Fairy Garden Front Yard

Mushrooms this time of year are fun. Well, they're fungi, actually, but you know...

I took a couple shots of the mushrooms in my front yard. Autumn is when our dew point in Northern California drops so we get a whole lot more fungal activity than the previous six months combined.

There is a fairy world waiting to be discovered underneath them.

Love the dew drops on the grass surrounding them. These photos remind me of many of the books I read as a child with enchanted fairy worlds living just below the surface of what we see.
