About Perennial Vintage Supply

Welcome to Perennial Vintage! My name is Heather and this website goes alongside the vintage clothing shop I've owned and operated on Etsy since 2010.

This is a vintage blog. A place to learn all about vintage clothing and the quality and appeal of slow fashion. I live in Northern California, am also a freelance writer - with a blog to go with that career - and I love buying, wearing, and selling vintage clothing.

This blog is a vintage fashion blog, vintage style blog, basically anything vintage blog. I'm so steeped in it that I wanted to share it with the rest of the world.

Feel free to visit my Etsy shop to get a feel for what inspires me. This is one of the best part-time hobby-turned-businesses I've ever participated in. In fact, I love it so much, that I could never call it work.

It's a love and hobby that happens to be profitable.

Vintage fashion is also known as slow fashion - this is fashion that uses quality materials, is made with care and attention to detail, with sustainable materials, to create clothing that will last a lifetime (also known as heritage wear).

I love vintage clothing with every fiber of my being. Being able to source vintage, research vintage, and learn the history behind each piece - and pass that information to you, along with selling vintage to other like-minded folks - fuels my passion.

The tenets of slow fashion usually cross over into other aspects of one's life. For me, slow fashion is one part of my style of living, but so is slow living and minimalism.

If you're interested in learning more about slow living, visit my slow living blog called A Work in Progress. This blog is all about a simple but good life. While it began years ago as an outlet for my creative writing - and there are a lot of articles on the art of writing - it is ultimately about everything that happens in my life centered around slow living.

If you're interested in learning more about minimal living, visit my minimal living blog called Simply Minimally. I dove into minimal living in 2017 and began the long swim of figuring out how to navigate the ups and downs and ins and outs of being a minimalist and remaining a minimalist. It has been a wonderful adventure. That site is filled with information to help you on your minimalism journey.

Contact me if you have any questions, or have an idea for a future post. I love hearing from my readers.

Again, this website and blog are about all things vintage in my life from what I sell, what I wear, what I love, and what inspires me. A daily vintage journal.

I’m so glad you’re here.

-Heather
